Study

Canada is one of the greatest countries in the world, with a top-notch educational system. Hundreds of thousands of students from all over the world come to Canada every year, to achieve their educational and career aspirations. Some of the best universities and colleges in the world are right here in Canada.

To study in Canada, you most likely need a study permit. If your intended study program is longer than six months, you will need a study permit (in addition to a visitor visa). Programs shorter than 6 months, typically don’t need a study permit, and a visitor visa, ETA or TRP alone (if required) is enough.

Remember, for programs longer than 6 months, you need a study permit in additional to your other (visa) requirements. If you require a visa to enter Canada, after successfully applying for and getting a study permit, Immigration will also issue you a visa.

We can help provide you a full set of services if you wish to study in Canada. We can help you assess your academic history, which DLI institutions would best fit your academic profile and goals, and your financial requirements. We can help not only with the actual study permit, but also in helping you apply correctly, and get accepted to the program of your choice to begin with.

We can also help put you on the road to correctly applying for, and ensuring compliance with your Post Graduate Work Permit (PGWP).

How long will your study permit be? How can you renew it? What can I study without a permit? What happens if my permit has expired? Can I apply for a permit after I have arrived in Canada or must I do it before coming to Canada?
